How Do I Use Item Form Tagging?

Item Form Tagging is a great tool to use that will log each time an Inventory item is entered on a form. This article will walk you through how to utilize this feature!

Required

• In order to set up Item Form Tagging in Form Builder, you must have the Access Form Builder role enabled.

In order to view which forms an inventory item is tagged on, you must have the Add Item role enabled.

Information

The INVENTORY LOOKUP FIELD is the only data object that will allow this feature.


Here are the steps on how to use Item Form Tagging:

  1. Navigate to Form Builder by clicking Admin, then select Form Builder.

  2. If you need to add this feature to an existing form, use the Name field to search for the form, or scroll to find your form. If you need to create a new form, click + Add New Form. Click directly on the form to start working on it.

  3. Find the INVENTORY LOOKUP FIELD data object and click the Gear icon to the right of it.

  4. Once the settings open, select the Radio button next to Tag Inventory Item/Form to the inventory item details, then click Save.

  5. Now when an inventory item's name is entered on this form, the form will show up when clicking into the item's profile, and selecting EMPLOYEE FORM TAGGING.

    Note: You can jump directly to the form by clicking on the form name!
