How Do I Track Mileage Using The Daily Timesheet?

Required

In order to track mileage on the Daily Timesheet, you must have the following roles enabled:
View All Projects or View Assigned Projects
Add / Edit Open Forms

Tracking Mileage on the Daily Timesheet will require you to select a Mileage Rate. Learn how to input different Mileage Rates by clicking the button below!

Here are the steps on how to track Mileage using the Daily Timesheet:

  1. Navigate to the project you're working on by clicking Projects on the left hand side.

  2. Scroll to find your project, or use the search field on the top to search by Project Name or Project Number. Once you find the project, click on the project to open it's dashboard.

  3. You can add Mileage to a Timesheet at any time. Click on the Daily Timesheet to open it up. If you don't see the Daily Timesheet, select Start Day or click + Add Form to add the Daily Timesheet form.

  4. Once one or more employees are added to the timesheet, click anywhere next to an employees name to expand their timesheet details.

  5. Once the timesheet details expand, select the + next to Mileage Tracker.

  6. Once the MILEAGE pop-up appears, enter all required fields marked with a red *, then click SUBMIT. Use the guide below to enter your mileage!

    (optional) Position - You can select a position to associate these miles with. This can be useful to sync the mileage data to an ERP system. The cost per mile

    Mileage Type - This is depicting which vehicle(s) these miles are being logged for.

    Total Mileage - Enter the total amount of miles that were traveled today.

    (optional) ​Notes - You can enter any specific comments or concerns about the miles that were driven. These notes will be saved for future reference.

  7. After these miles are submitted, they'll show up in the employee's timesheet details!

  8. You now have the following options to adjust these miles:

    edit mileage - Click this option to change your mileage entry.

    show notes - Click this option to view the mileage notes.

    remove mileage - Click this option to delete the miles.
